Had a long lunch with some JC classmates at the Science canteen yesterday. Since some of them had classes to rush to, I ended up chattering with Minwei, Lijie and shmeen at a table. I do miss the 01s77 feeling. Even though shmeen and Minwei are in medicine too, I don’t really talk to them [...]

I have finally, finally gotten connected to the NUS wireless network! I’m typing this on my laptop in the library right now. It’s quite simple, actually!
1. Email the Computer Centre people and tell them your name, contact no., faculty, year and user id.
2. Give them the physical address of your wireless card.
3. After they [...]

Is it just me, or have people lost all sense of etiquette these days? People just can’t stop talking during lectures. It’s not even that they’re clarifying something about the lecture with their friends. Once the lecturer finishes the important content portion of his lecture and starts on a summary the noise level just rises. [...]

The 2nd prossection session today. This time I slipped my Nomad II MG into the breast pocket of my labcoat and recorded everything that Prof Tay said. The sound quality’s not bad; I love my Nomad! One guy in my group commented on how the cadaver looked like duck meat, which started the two of [...]

Was reading through blogs; haven’t had the luxury of doing that for a long while. My poor juniors are so stressed up right now because of prelims. One funny thing this year: how come no one really mentioned Matsuri on any of the mailing lists? I didn’t even know that there was one till the [...]

Had a really ridiculous, yet rather frightening dream that lasted so long my body clock failed and I woke up one hour later than usual! First of all there were some activities going on in the medicine faculty, where various groups had to come with elaborate headpieces for a representative. This was held at my [...]

The Gallbladders played at Far East Plaza as part of the Tapestry 2003 lineup today. At the foot of the escalator opposite Burger King in the humid heat, no less - argh! I was one of three staunch supporters ^^;; Sadly, the Gallbladders are down to 2 original founding members as dear Joyce is overseas [...]

What am I supposed to write on my lecture notes and papers now? It somehow feels incomplete just writing my name and the date. Do I write “PBL Group 5″, “Anatomy Group 4″, “OG Maedhros” or “M1″? It feels weird not to have a class to belong to. These days my OG is still together [...]
