coming to the end.
Okay, today was rather fun.
After rounds, my MO and I went down to buy tea from Polar. We returned to the MO room where we polished off a huge jar of cornflake cookies (baked lovingly by another MO) within an hour. CHOMP CHOMP CHOMP.
Met up with the rest at TCC at Novena Square for a late lunch. It was great to see everyone again, though we spent all of it talking about work, hurhur. I am quite violently sick of work right now and totally looking forward to 25 october. Went on to Orchard after that; where I spent money on new foundation from ettusais (WHY WHY WHY do cosmetics cost so much?). I’d now say that my skin is my worst feature. One can always cover up thunder thighs and bellies with the right clothes, and disguise fat cheeks with a good hairstyle. Pondered cutting my hair, but ICON was amazingly crowded. I’ll get you someday, Yasu’s Hairstyle.
Alright, here’s my schedule for the next three months:
Oct 25-30: on leave! But going to Taiwan.
Nov 8-12: on leave! Taste of Chaos on Nov 8. (yes, I take leave for my favourite band. OF COURSE)
Nov 22-23: am going try REAL HARD to get this weekend off. Will do anything, my fellow colleagues. You may have my firstborn.
Dec 14 13: EOY. I seriously need this Saturday 100% off. Half-day doesn’t cut it! Please, my colleagues! I might let you have my secondborn.
I really wish I had more leave, or more weekend days off per month. Alright, if I do go out into private practice in the future, I’d probably be working every day; but I’d be able to choose when to take leave, instead of my fate depending on the leave requests of others or the whims of the roster monster.
