What I’ve been watching
Ranting and babbling ahead.
Proposal Daisakusen and SP: completed. I laugh my head off and shed buckets of tears each episode; how do the scriptwriters manage to get it right without overdoing it? It’s one of the best series I’ve watched recently. Both men are admirable fellows; and Tada-sensei is such a good man he’s unbelievable. (I wish I had acquited myself as gracefully as he did.) Ken himself is rather unreal, no one in real life has that much devotion. After watching the SP, I thought for the umpteenth time what a cute couple Eri and Tsuru are; and I am now aching to go to Hawaii for the beaches and sunsets. I love the moving background music, the ending theme and the insert song which is now on my radioblog. On youtube: live performance of Chiisana Koi no Uta by Mongol800.
Zettai Kareshi: episodes 1-2. Totally unreal premise, which is precisely the point here! A demure, virtuous office girl (Aibu Saki) down on her luck in love is offered a completely customised android (Hayami Mokomichi) touted to be the ideal boyfriend. Mizushima Hiro is her boss, again typecast in a playboy role. He’s so sweet and misunderstood and those cheekbones don’t hurt *swoons* It also doesn’t hurt that their company specialises in making desserts, so each episode has trays of droolsome cakes, tarts, pies and what-have-you. Mmmm. Only two episodes have been subbed so far.
Bamboo Blade: watching again from episode 15. KOTE!!!!!! MEN!!!!!!!!!!!
Macross Frontier episode 2: Great animation, as usual.
Baccano! season 2: waiting grrrrrrrrr
Soul Eater episode 1: interesting art; but so far the storyline doesn’t seem like it’ll be that interesting, unless it starts getting creative.

hallelujah…chansu!!
Tsuru is very admirable too! I kept watching the last part where Rei said “Yoroshiku onegaishimasu” over and over again because it’s nice parallel of their childhood. But I could never figure out how he managed to run to the airport in time. Chiisana Koi no Uta is now like, the best song to play when running.
hey, there’s also nabari no ou =) please watch that hehe
