and for the first time in esplanade history

Went for the Budak Pantai a capella concert at the Esplanade earlier. It’s a free concert; so the queue was really long. I can’t believe it! I was at the lobby, went off to the chocolate shop for a few minutes, then returned to find a long, long queue snaking up to the 2nd ‘tier’ from the door. *gasp* And when the concert hall was full, they had to let the remaining people take the seats right behind and above the stage. So when people emerged from the doors behind the stage to get to their seats some members of the audience actually started clapping *lol* The Budak Pantai people even introduced them later: “And presenting, for the first time in Esplanade history, the BUDAK PANTAI CHOIR!!” *lol*

I really enjoyed the concert. They are a group of talented and irrevent guys ^^;; *makes note to grab cd off alanna - please!*

I met Esther at the lobby after that. Nope, she didn’t get kicked out of the library ‘cos she knew better than to try going there. I am envious of people who can just sit somewhere and study. I need a big, clean table, which probably explains why I don’t get much work done at home - my table is too cluttered.

I have just realised that since CA is on Thursday, it means that I have THREE days after the weekend to study, not FOUR. ARGH!

Hikaru no Go has ended…I’m happy (because that means the end of spending $$ on a series), sad (because there’s now nothing to look forward to) and satisfied. It had a good ending.
