a year older.
So I spent the first day of my twenty-fourth year of existence throwing a childish fit in front of my CG mates. Sigh. I have to keep my temper in check even if I don’t agree with what others say or if they rub me the wrong way, especially if it’s over something so little.
I wonder why I’ve been so tired recently, despite having most afternoons off. So I’d go home, be really tired at 2pm, and nap for a hour, but wake up feeling just as tired. Then the baseline tiredness lasts till bedtime, but because I slept in the afternoon I have difficulty falling asleep. And when I wake the next morning, the whole cycle repeats itself. Gargh.
Anyway, I spent my birthday with AA and WT. AA’s the first friend I made in secondary school - yellowbirdie doesn’t count because we go back to primary school. Bought a pair of boots at Central while waiting for them (but they were severely discounted!).
Dinner was at Kyomomoyama. Photos below:
AA and I got the unagi set with seaweed tea. The empty bowl there is for mixing the rice with the seaweed tea. The seaweed tea was rather unusual, it smelt like the sea, but had just a hint of saltiness and was very refreshing.
What I love about the unagi here is that it’s grilled nicely and not smothered in gravy. I’m sure those who like their unagi fatty won’t complain about those served here.

I had a good time catching up with them; and AA and I were trying to get WT to watch anime comedies XD Thanks so much for dinner, girls
