HP meme

My, my. And a Potter meme, also taken off avaris. (you really aren’t studying this break, are you?)

Note: spoilers for the Deathly Hallows may be present.

The Books in Order from Favorite to Least Favorite:

  1. Deathly Hallows
  2. Half-Blood Prince
  3. Prisoner of Askaban
  4. Philosopher’s Stone
  5. Chamber of Secrets
  6. Goblet of Fire
  7. Order of the Phoenix

Well, I can’t quite recall the first two books, actually. I actually divide the series into two categories: thin and thick. Of the thin books, I liked the first one because it was a great starter, hated the second because I didn’t quite like Ginny back then, and loved the third because it was darker and the Marauders were introduced.

Of the thick books, I like the last one best because it has the most plot and emotions. Erm, Goblet of Fire was the first of the verbose books and had that irritating Dobby, so I didn’t like it; though the Triwizard competition was quite a fun read. Order of the Phoenix was too messy and ansty, with Sirius’ rather pathetic death scene. Half-Blood Prince is wonderful too because of the plot points (trying to secure the Horcrux in that cave), the humour (aha! the potions book), Gryffindor winning the cup and Harry x Ginny.

Number of Times You Have Read the Series:
About 4 times for the thinner books, and twice for the thicker ones. But I do re-read certain segments now and then.

Favorite Chapter from Your Favorite Book:
I’ll have to go with avaris: The Prince’s Tale from Deathly Hallows.

Five Favorite Characters:
Snape, Ginny, Fred/George (they count as one, okay?), Bellatrix (solely for the movie version), Hermione.

Three Least Favorite Characters:
Cho Chang, Cornelius Fudge and Umbridge (and thus she has fulfilled her purpose of being hated by one and all).

Favorite Member of the Trio: Hermione.

Three Favorite Magical Creatures:
Thestrals, centaurs (they DO count, right?), dragons.

Favorite Family:
The Weasleys, of course ^^;;

Favorite Villain:
Bellatrix Lestrange XD

Favorite Death Eater:
Oh, Bellatrix again.

Favorite Non-Hogwarts Magical Building:
Luna Lovegood’s home, because it’s so eccentric.

Favorite Diagon Alley Location:
Ollivander’s wand shop. I’d love to walk in there and get myself measured for a wand XD

Three Favorite Spells:
Expecto Patronum! That spell brings me to tears each time it’s used.
Avada Kedavra. (I just love how the words sound between your lips and teeth.)
Expelliarmus!

Three Favorite Potions:
Ah crap, how many potions do I actually know!
Felix Felicis, Veritaserum and Wolfsbane Potion.

Favorite Unforgivable Curse:
Imperius. Crucio and Avada Kedavra are just too crude.

Favorite Department of Mysteries Room:
The planet room.

Biggest Surprise:
Cedric’s death in Goblet of Fire. Gosh. It was erm…unexpected and very sudden.

Biggest Letdown:
Can’t really think of any.

Favorite Mode of Transportation:
Broomstick. It’s got to be a Firebolt.

Favorite Weasley:
ARGH. Fred/George.

Favorite Order Member:
Hmm…before the movie came out, I’d say Tonks, but I don’t agree with her real-life portrayal. I’d have to say Kingsley Shacklebolt now.

Favorite pet:
Hedwig. Can’t stand Crookshanks.

One Character You’d Bring Back to Life:
Fred.

Moment That Will Always Make You Cry:
When Harry tells Albus about the Slytherin headmaster being the bravest man he knew.

Favorite Hogwarts Room:
I’m sure most people would say the Room of Requirement, but I’m quite partial to the luxurios bathroom the prefects have.

Favorite Class: Defence against the Dark Arts.

Favorite Teacher: Snape.

Favorite DADA teacher: Lupin.

Least Favorite Teacher: Umbridge.

Favorite Non-Human Hogwarts Resident:
Peeves.

Favorite Hogsmeade Location:
Where the trio go to drink Butterbeer, can’t recall the name. The place they drink Butterbeer.. the Three Broomsticks?

Favorite Triwizard Champion: Harry Potter.

Favorite Triwizard Task: The final one; well, the earlier ones were easy-peasy.

Which Character You’d Ask to the Yule Ball:
Oliver Wood.
(actually, can I say young Snape?)

Which Character You’d Like to Use a Love Potion On:
Oh, no. That wouldn’t do anything for my self-esteem at all.

Which Character You’d Like to Use Veritaserum On:
Can’t really think of anyone that I want to interrogate that much.

How Long You Have Been a HP Fan:
I read the first book the year it came out. Which was what, 7-8 years ago? Gosh. I was only in Sec 4/J1 then, but now I’m in my final year!

Favorite Wizard Rock Band:
Erm, Harry and the Potters. (They’re an actual band, okay?) They’ve got great lyrics.

Number of Midnight Releases You Have Attended:
None lah. I’m not that fanatical.

Favorite HP Website:
I like mugglenet.

Most Ridiculous Potter Theory You’ve Heard:
I stay away from ridiculous theories XD

Character You’re Most Like:
Snape, according to that quiz I did earlier. I hope I have some Hermione in me, though.

House You Think You’d Be Sorted Into:
Garrgh…was thinking either Ravenclaw or Gryffindor. But well, I’d choose Ravenclaw so that being amongst smart people will make me smart; and if I have valour, I’ll have it anyway whether I go to Gryffindor or not.

Your Patronus Would Be A:
The quiz said a Siberian tiger, but I’d love to have an eagle.

To You, Amortentia Would Smell Like:
Tea and cakes. I’m thinking of how the V Tea Room smells.

You’d Use Felix Felicis To:
Get past my MBBS and future post-grad exams. Sorry, but I’m a practical person.

The Job You Would Most Like to Try:
Being an Auror.

Which You Would Rather See — a Sequel or a Prequel:
Hm. Perhaps a prequel, about Voldermort’s first rising, with more details on the Order and Neville’s parents. I don’t really think a sequel would work as the wizarding world seems really peaceful.

The Movies in Order from Favorite to Least Favorite:

  1. Philosopher’s Stone
  2. Order of the Phoenix
  3. Goblet of Fire
  4. Chamber of Secrets
  5. Prisoner of Azkaban

The last three are all tied.

And that’s it! Going to bathe now.
