The concert’s over. I screwed up; and we didn’t play both pieces as well as we were able to, but it was still great fun. There’s going to be this void in my life from now on, heh. Especially when I think of the group that’s going to attend Symposium next week *envious*
The Conductor will not continue next year because the stress of conducting and holding down a fulltime job has damaged her health. She is special, being senior, mentor and instructor at once. That said, a change of instructor is a big disruption in the first place. I do hope the alumni continues. ZR and my batch are the oldest members and we’ve been egging on the rest for the previous few years, but MX’s batch called the shots this time round and the Graces’ batch will be post-A-levels next year. Ah yes, there is hope. Meanwhile, I indulge ocassionally in my dream house with a studio big enough for at least 5 octaves of bells with their ringers; perhaps even sound recording facilities!
why’re you not going for symposium! >:((( but yeah concert was really fun- i’m in alumni now :O
